On this page, we list companies with certified professionals on staff who are certified in Snohomish County. Some septic contractors are certified in more than one area. - Septic installers: Certified by Snohomish Health District and must pass an examination and certification requirements (PDF).
- Sewage pumpers: Certified by Snohomish Health District and must pass an examination and certification requirements (PDF).
- Monitoring and maintenance specialists: Certified by the Snohomish Health District and must pass both portions of the Washington On-Site Sewage Association exam in addition to meeting the 2-year experience requirement and showing proof of current registration with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
- Designers and engineers: Licensed by the Washington State Department of Licensing.
