The Snohomish County Health Department has several programs for investigating specific diseases. Each program has different reporting requirements, including report forms that must be filled out and faxed to us.

Flu Vaccine
Everyone 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated with any licensed, age-appropriate influenza vaccine (IIV, RIV, or LAIV), as indicated. No preference is given for any one vaccine over another.

Perinatal Hepatitis B
This program provides support, education, and reminders to providers to ensure that all infants born to HBsAG+ mothers follow the CDC protocol to prevent contracting hepatitis B during delivery.

Vaccines for Health Care Workers
The Snohomish County Health Department follows the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Recommendations for Immunization of Health Care Personnel.
