Snohomish County residents can now check the status of multiple respiratory viruses in the community using a new online data dashboard at www.snohd.org/snoRID.
The Snohomish County Respiratory Illness Dashboard features information about COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). These are common respiratory viruses that all are capable of causing serious complications for individuals as well as the healthcare system.
There are precautions people can take when illness levels are high, typically in the fall and winter. Be sure to get all recommended vaccinations for your age and health status, and be ready to wear a well-fitting mask in healthcare settings or crowded venues.
Check back weekly for dashboard updates during the Fall and Winter to stay informed on disease activity and to know when you should be extra diligent about illness prevention.
