Birth Certificate
The Vital Statistics Office issues certified copies of birth certificates for anyone born in the State of Washington from 1921
to the present. Prior to 1921, the Vital Statistics office can only issue birth certificates for births that occurred in Snohomish
County and these records are not complete. Please contact our office before requesting a Snohomish County birth prior to 1921, and
we will verify that it is on file. The fee is $20.00 per certified copy.
The Center for Health Statistics
issues birth certificates for all births occurring in the State of Washington from 1907 to the present.
Death Certificate
The Vital Statistics office issues certified copies of death certificates for deaths occurring in the city of Everett from 1953
to the present and for deaths occurring in the rest of Snohomish County from 1960 to the present. The fee is $20.00 per
certified copy.
The Center for Health Statistics
issues death certificates for all deaths occurring in the State of Washington from 1907 to the present.
