  • ARC of Snohomish County
    Advocates for persons with disabilities and their families. 425-258-2459 or 1-800-446-4980

  • Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
    All ages. Assists individuals with developmental disabilities and their families obtain services. or call 425-339-4833 or 1-800-788-2053

  • Infant Toddler Early Intervention Program
    Assists families with children birth to 3 years of age to access funds and coordinate services in Snohomish County. 425-339-1965 or 1-800-927-9308

  • Snohomish County Developmental Disabilities Resource Guide
    Provides information and education to Snohomish County residents with developmental disabilities and their families. 425-388-7320

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    SSI makes monthly payments to people with low income and limited resources who are 65 or older, or blind or disabled. Your child under age 18 can qualify if he or she meets Social Security's definition of disability for children, and if his or her income and resources fall within the eligibility limits.     Provides information on health-related issues for children including those with special health care needs. 1-800-322-2588
  • Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center
    Information for patients and families about the hospital and clinics, child health advice, newsletters, and events.

  • Family Village
    The Family Village is a web site for children and adults with disabilities, their families, and their friends and allies. Family Village brings together thousands of online resources in an organized, easy-to-use directory. The centerpiece of Family Village is the library, where visitors can find information on over 300 diagnosis. Visitors can also learn about assistive technology, legal rights and legislation, special education, leisure activities and much more

  • Fathers Network
    The Washington State Fathers Network (WSFN) advocates for and provides support and resources for all men and their families who have children with special needs.

  • Parent to Parent
    The Parent-to-Parent program provides information and referrals to community resources, services, support groups, state support programs, and others as well as events and support groups to bring families together and gain relationships.

  • Washington PAVE (Parents are Vital in Education)
    Washington PAVE is a parent directed organization that works with families, individuals with disabilities, professionals and community members in all walks of life and with all types of disabilities. Since 1979, PAVE has provided information, training and support for over 1,000,000 individuals with disabilities, parents and professionals.

    Offers you information, tools, and resources that support a medical home for children and youth with special health care needs and their families. A medical home is a team approach to providing comprehensive primary health care services in a high-quality and cost-effective manner.

  • US Department of Defense Special Needs Network
    The Department of Defense (DoD) Special Needs Parent Tool Kit contains 110 pages of comprehensive information and tools geared towards helping military families with special needs children navigate the maze of medical and special education services, community support and benefits and entitlements.

  • Special Needs Resource Project
    The Special Needs Resource Project web site provides a set of links for each state to help families become familiar with local resources. It also provides links to National Military and Native American resources, which help families and communities meet the needs of parents of children with chronic health issues, disabilities and special health care needs.
