Ebola virus disease update

Action requested: Be aware of recommendations for infection control for suspected Ebola virus disease and for travel to certain countries affected by Ebola.

Background

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has posted infection control guidance for suspected and confirmed Ebola virus patients.  In addition, CDC now advises all US residents to avoid nonessential travel to Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Liberia because of the unprecedented outbreak of Ebola.
