Dear Partners and Colleagues,

Public health officially integrated with Snohomish County government effective January 1, 2023. The new Snohomish County Health Department provides public health services to all residents of Snohomish County.

The Snohomish Health District is its own, independent special purpose district, and the dissolution of the District following its integration with the County will take time. Though staff, programs, contracts, and services have moved out of the Snohomish Health District and into the new Health Department, the District as an entity still exists until that dissolution is final.

Please note: The Snohomish County Health Department and the Snohomish Health District each have a Board of Health. They are not the same Board for both entities. To learn about the new Snohomish County Board of Health, please visit www.snohd.org/boardofhealth.

This email is to serve as notice that all regular meetings of the Snohomish Health District Board of Health and its Executive, Administration, and Program Policy Committees for 2023 are cancelled. Special meetings will be noticed and published at https://www.snohd.org/721/Dissolution-of-the-Snohomish-Health-Dist for matters that require action by the Snohomish Health District Board of Health.
