Updates on COVID vaccination in Snohomish County

Appointments now recommended but not required at mass vaccination sites

All mass vaccination sites operated by the Snohomish County Vaccine Taskforce are now offering on-site registration for people who do not have a prior appointment.

People may arrive at the sites during open hours to receive their vaccine even if they do not have an appointment. Vaccinations will be provided as long as doses are available. They will be asked to register on-site for their shot using a digital or paper form.

The taskforce still highly recommends registering in advance. This reserves a dose for that appointment. Vaccines for those without an appointment will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Signing up for an appointment is easy. It can be done online using the registration links at http://bit.ly/snocovaccine, or over the phone by calling 425-339-5278 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

See below schedule for vaccination site hours through May 11. This schedule is also available at http://bit.ly/snocovaccine, and an updated schedule for May 12-18 will be available soon.

SnoCoVaxPerks

Dear Business Owners & Managers,

We’re excited to announce a new initiative called #SnoCoVaxPerks, focused on encouraging COVID-19 vaccines and promoting local businesses in Snohomish County.

As you may have seen, businesses around the state and nation are offering freebies or discounts to fully vaccinated customers. We’re reaching out to ask you to join the movement.

Not only will your business be helping encourage residents to get vaccinated, but you would also be getting free advertising for your business.

Participating businesses will be featured on a webpage hosted by the Snohomish Health District. That webpage and #SnoCoVaxPerks will be featured in a press release and media availability, as well as through multiple social media channels and newsletters. It will also be promoted through a direct mailer going to every business and residence in Snohomish County in late-May.

The type of discount or freebies is up to you. Perhaps it’s $1 off, a 10% discount, a free gift with purchase, or some other idea. You may also specify any exclusions or requirements if appropriate. Please note that the Snohomish Health District retains the right to exclude offers that are not in alignment with public health goals, such as tobacco, vaping or marijuana products.

While this program is anticipated to run through August 31, 2021, you may choose to have a shorter duration if needed.

The following would be acceptable as proof of full vaccination:
• Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered);
• A photo of a vaccination card as a separate document;
• A photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device; or
• Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record.

Self-reported vaccination records not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.

If you are interested in participating, please visit https://bit.ly/SnoCoVaxPerks to fill out a quick form with your information. You will be contacted once your information is added to the webpage, which is currently scheduled to go live the week of May 24. We will also share an electronic toolkit so that you can promote your business’ participation in the program.

Join in and let’s move Snohomish County forward!
