Vaccination Update
Dear child care and early learning providers,
This message is to share another opportunity this week for vaccination at one of the Snohomish County Vaccine Taskforce mass vaccination sites, at Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett. The site is by appointment only for those who are eligible in the current phase, so please do not show up without an appointment. Due to the limited vaccine supply, appointments may book up quickly.
Also, please note that this vaccine is for ages 18 and older. Even if you are a child care worker, please do not register for an appointment if you are under the age of 18.
The registration links below are being provided before they become more broadly available for others who are eligible to register. They are being provided to child care and early learning providers as well as organizations that have been helping register vulnerable older adults for vaccination. Please do not share this link on social media or via other avenues. The public link will be made available around 2 p.m. at least one day prior to the dates of the appointments.
For more information on vaccination in Snohomish County, please visit http://bit.ly/snocovaccine. There are links on that page to Phase Finder as well as additional vaccination location information from the Washington State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Local pharmacies may also have appointments available through their websites and are vaccinating child care providers and educators. The current participating pharmacies in Washington are Safeway/Albertsons, Costco, Rite Aid, Health Mart Independent Pharmacies, Kroger (Fred Meyer and QFC), and Walmart.
Thank you for your patience as we work to vaccinate people as quickly and safely as possible. It may take time to get an appointment, as vaccine supply remains limited. We appreciate your understanding.
