EVERETT---Snohomish Health District announced it is stocking a new vaccine that fights the invasive Pneumococcus organism---a common cause of bacterial meningitis, pneumonia, ear infections and blood infections in children. Snohomish Health District announces "Excellence Award" winners

Local businesses recognized for safe food handling practices

Everett - Judged by their industry peers, seven food service establishments in Snohomish County are being recognized for their excellence in handling food safely. "Excellence Award" plaques will be presented to the winners at the Snohomish Health District board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13, in the Snohomish Health District auditorium, 3020 Rucker Ave., Everett.
