Lynnwood and Marysville earn the Healthy Communities Award for clearing the air

Snohomish Health District commends the cities for adopting tobacco-free parks ordinances

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – The Snohomish Health District is honoring the cities of Lynnwood and Marysville with its Healthy Communities Award. Keri Moore, Healthy Communities Specialist at the Health District presented the award to Lynnwood at the Nov. 12 meeting of the Lynnwood City Council. Health District Deputy Director Pete Mayer will present the Marysville City Council with the award on Nov. 25.

Health District tuberculosis team receives state award for leadership

Dr. Gary Goldbaum honored for excellence in public health epidemiology

Snohomish County’s Health Officer honored with the 2013 Noreen Harris Award, Oct. 16

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. –  Dr. Gary M. Goldbaum, Health Officer and Director of the Snohomish Health District, was selected recently by public health peers to receive the 2013 Noreen Harris Award for Excellence in Public Health Epidemiology. The award was presented to Dr. Goldbaum Oct. 16 at Seattle-King County Public Health offices in Seattle, Wash.
