Snohomish Health District honors long-time employees

16 staff recognized for combined 155 years of service

SNOHOMISH COUNTY --- Snohomish Health District recently recognized 16 staff members for their service to local public health. Presiding at the Health District’s quarterly all-staff meeting, Health Officer M. Ward Hinds, MD, MPH, thanked the honorees for their dedication to the mission of the Health District.

“Their hard work has improved the health of individuals, families and communities in Snohomish County,” said Dr. Hinds. “They have prevented disease, promoted healthy lifestyles and protected the community from environmental threats. We value them for what they have done and continue to do,” he said.

Longevity Award recipients are:

25 years:

  • Dave Compton - Environmental Health Specialist 2
  • Judy Silk, RN - Public Health Nurse 3
15 years:
  • Kathy Adamson, RN - Public Health Nurse 3
  • Junelle Erickson - Office Assistant 2
10 years:
  • Susan Meston - Office Assistant 2
