Board of Health Meeting, Feb. 14

New grant for opioid overdose monitoring pilot to be discussed

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. – During its regular board meeting, the Board of Health is expected to take action on an agreement with the Washington State Department of Health for a grant through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This grant will allow the Snohomish Health District to begin a pilot project to monitor opioid overdose survivals in Snohomish County. 

In addition to the grant, newly elected County Councilmember Nate Nehring will be sworn in to the Board of Health. The meeting will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. The meeting will be held in the District’s Auditorium located at 3020 Rucker Ave, Everett, Wash.
