Snohomish Health District hosts the “Organ Lady,” Apr. 3

Not-for-the-squeamish presentation about tobacco’s effects on humans

EVERETT --- “Organ Lady” Becky Engel, RN, shows the real inside story about the effects of tobacco on human tissue on Tuesday, April 3, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Snohomish Health District auditorium, 3020 Rucker Ave., Everett.

Ms. Engel is a pulmonary rehabilitation specialist at Providence Everett Medical Center, and also serves as chair of Tobacco-Free Snohomish County. She will illustrate the presentation with diseased and healthy human organs.

The event is co-sponsored by Snohomish Health District and Tobacco-Free Snohomish County as part of National Public Health Week. The presentation is free and open to the public --- parents and children are welcome.
