Health District to host Mother’s Tea on May 8

Annual resource fair for moms and moms-to-be

EVERETT, Wash. – Being a mom is a big adjustment—there’s a new, demanding human in your life 24/7. All the new chores and expenses and health worries can take away from the joys of motherhood. Everyone needs support and resources, which is why the Snohomish Health District hosts this annual event for mothers in the community.

 

Pregnant women and mothers of young children are invited to a Mother’s Day Tea from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 8 at the Snohomish Health District, 3020 Rucker Ave., Everett. Door prizes and light refreshments will be provided, and there will be a play space for children.


The event will be hosted by the staff from the First Steps and the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) programs, as well as participation from the Think TB and Vaccine Preventable Disease programs. Participating vendors include:
