The Health Statistics & Assessment Program uses data and scientific methods to understand the health issues in our county. Individuals, agencies, and organizations use our data to identify community needs, develop and plan programs, and measure program effectiveness. This office also provides birth and death certificates.
Community Report Card In 2012, a community health assessment was conducted and the final report was released in April 2013. It summarizes data on 80 indicators of individual and community health in Snohomish County. Three top priorities emerged for focused community efforts: Suicide, Obesity and Youth Physical Abuse.
Health Data & Reports Health Data are collected, analyzed, and disseminated to describe our population and to identify trends and changes in health outcomes and related behaviors. These data are disseminated via reports, publications, a newsletter, and in data tables and graphs available on our website.
